IDYLL is a mini puzzle platformer where the player switches between two playable characters, a human and his dog, each with different characteristics.
On IDYLL the goal is to complete a serie of puzzles using the different characteristics of each character. The game is distinguished by the sad narrative of the separation of a man and his dog.
For this project, I worked with Francisco Ribeiro, Joana Pinto and Inês Melo during 1 week in order to create a javascript game that worked on the web and that could be played with a gamepad.
In terms of code, we created a small javascript engine to support our game and future projects, we also used Gamepad API supported by most browsers.
We are happy with the final result, even though is a alpha version for educational purposes, its was highlighted for his advanced techniques.
